As of Monday, April 22, General Motors and its joint ventures have sold their 1 millionth vehicle in China in 2013 — marking the earliest the automaker and its partners have reached the milestone… ever.
The first time GM and its JVs sold 1 million vehicles in a single year in China was in December 2007. In 2012, they reached the 1 million vehicles milestone on May 7 and this year, they achieved the target two weeks earlier.
On an even more optimistic note, the automaker has no plans of resting on its laurels in the Land of the Land Dragon, as it — along with its joint ventures — plans to launch 17 new or upgraded models in the country this year while expanding its dealer network, among other investment plans.
By comparison, General Motors sold 664,963 vehicles in the United States through March of this year, and is on track to sell somewhere in the vicinity of 900,000 through April.

This is great news. GM gets a profit from each vehicle sold and that returns to the USA. Now we have to stop the imports from doing the same, and reduce the money they take from their stupid customers here!
The Chevy sign looks better in China.
