The next king of chrome from GMC is on the way with the all-new Sierra Denali (not pictured). The range-topping pickup was recently caught in a testing convoy of all-new 2014 GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado models. The top-of-the-line Sierra was only thinly disguised, with only the front fascia masked with jeweled bi-xenon headlamps poking through the covering. But it was the massive chromed wheels that were the dead giveaway, to say the least. Oddly enough, this particular Denali sported Rancho shocks, like the Z71/All Terrain models.
Since the Sierra Denali is a premium truck, expect upmarket materials both inside and out of the truck, more so than the outgoing vehicle. Additionally, since Cadillac has no current plans to continue offering the Escalade EXT, it will be the Sierra Denali assuming the role as The General’s most luxurious pickup. Hopefully this means more of a push upmarket.

Still with camo? Thought we’d seen pics already.
I think this may be a little off, if the past is a true indicator of the future. Case in point is the front grille. The grille in the ’14 pickup pictures here are ovals, much like the GM Accessory Grilles for the ’07-’13 pickups. I wonder if we are just seeing a new one with a new accessory grille, unless they are looking to deviate from the cirles that they are currently using.
As for the new front bumper, I got nothing….
I’m going to bet they will do a more three dimensional set up with the grille. If you look at the Terrain & Acadia Denali models the Grilles have much more work to them compared to the current set up of just round holes. That says to me they are putting more effort and detailing in the truck.
As for the bumper I doubt its going to change that much from the standard models other then being body colored (hopefully all the way down, no blk lip showing). One thing that gets me though is why are the fogs not projectors? On both the Terrain and Acadia they both come standard with Projector beam headlights and fog lights (you can convert to HID with no problem if you so choose then) but from what I see Sierra is only getting the headlights as projectors. What gives? That, I think, would be something else that is standard on Sierra that Ford/Dodge would not have. But i’m nitpicking. ^^
As far as the 2014 sierra goes people need to just stop looking at the fit and finish and start asking why they don’t fix rust issues after 3yrs also chipping so easy mouldings coming off and charging 3-5 thousand dallars mors just because it says sierra nothing different from the silverado finish that is it I herd that they are still going to charge to much
