Cadillac Racing Eyes Repeat Championship Season In 2013

Cadillac Racing may have had a bumpy start upon its re-entry into the Pirelli World Challenge Series two years ago, but the team learned fast. So fast, in fact, that it managed to capture both the Manufacturer’s and Driver’s championships last year.

Johnny O’Connell, 2012 Pirelli World Challenge GT Driver’s Champion, and teammate Andy Pilgrim, the runner-up in GT points, definitely have targets on their backs thanks to their success, but expect to have their Cadillac CTS-V Coupes at the front of the World Challenge field in 2013, with the season opener is right around the corner.

The Pirelli World Challenge Series fires up 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 for the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, with the second race on Sunday at 10:25 a.m. Live streaming of all the action can be found on www.world-challengeTV.com as the race runs through the streets of downtown St. Pete, around the city marina and the Albert Whitted Airport. NBC Sports will also replay the action on Sunday, April 7 at 12:30 p.m. EDT.

Fire up, Cadillac!
