Following up on Push, Night Out, and Buttons is this new commercial for the 2013 Cadillac XTS. The 30-second spot mentions a few accolades and positive examples of praise mentioned by several automotive outlets about the full-size sedan, and then states, “If you think you’ve seen all the Cadillac XTS has to offer, look again.”
Wrapping up the clip is Caddy’s tagline of The Standard Of The World. Like so:
The GM Authority Take
Another clip putting the spotlight on the XTS, while painting the Cadillac brand in a modern-luxury light. Good stuff, Caddy.
PS: Look out for the full GM Authority review of the XTS shortly.

I will look again when it has 420 horsepresure.
Nice ad Cadillac. One can definitely tell they are aiming for a younger more tech savvy and hip customer base. Good for them.
I think you’re right about these ads aiming at a younger buyer, but it’s a complete waste of ad money. NO ONE under 60 will consider buying this car, and none west of the Misissippi. Those buyers go BMW, MBZ, Audi, Lexus, Chysler 300 THEN maybe Cadillac. GM isn’t fooling anyone, quality and prestige are based on good product which this car is not, an ad campain won’t fix it. They should spend the money on a competent RWD offering instead of trickery. I know the XTS is a stop gap car, but it’s tarnishing the brand. It took Cadillac 25 years to crawl back with the CTS & ATS after Lexus & Audi ate their lunch, this car is setting the brand back 5 years.
@Michael while I agree with the overall logic, I should mention that the Caddy RWD full sizer is under development (as we all know), and that it takes much more time and money to make such a vehicle (and the underlying vehicle architecture) than it does to plan, shoot, produce, and run a few high-quality model-specific commercials.
So while dev and engineering is ongoing on Omega/LTS, Caddy needs to move some XTS units. Hence the ad campaign. Right?
I went to the auto show in february and sat inside the xts platinum and I must say the interior and seat comfort is one of the best I have seen. This car looks a lot better in person, in pics this car looks bubbly and in person its more edgy. Im 27 and im definately considering this car.
Sorry Michael W I have to disagree with your comments ! I know of plenty new caddy XTS owners well under 60 who are driving this car and loving it.
