  1. Are those blue colors on the SS, Camaro and truck all the same and what is the name(s)?

  2. The race car version is sweet, the street version looks blah! Still think SS belongs to Camaro !

    1. The first Malibu super Sport (SS) came out in 1965, two years before the first Camaro, so the “SS” model can be included for any Chevrolet model. BTW, I drove the 1967 “RS” (Rally Sport) Camaro which had the 327 CI V8 and the pneumatic headlight covers, so I do know more about the first Chevrolet “sport” models.

  3. I think Mark Reuss said around 450hp? I thought it was supposed to make 415hp? In any case, I think silver was a bad choice of colour. It would have looked much better in black, or maybe red. Remember the Impala SS of the nineties was always in black? It helped a bland passenger car look cool and even a bit bad ass.

  4. I figured he must have gotten it wrong, but part of me wanted to believe it was right. Wishful thinking. But for the 2015 model year I think it will get the new LT-1 and an 8-speed auto. And maybe a manual, but that seems iffy.

    1. The irony is that 2016 will probably be the last model year of the SS on the Zeta. Question is, will they keep making incremental improvement to the car throughout the 3 years it’s on the market, or milk it for all it’s worth with the current setup?

  5. I love that silver color I’m glad they didn’t do it in fugly red. I even like the retro name. 1970 Holden Monaro HG was sold in South Africa under the name Chevrolet SS.

  6. The more I see this car the worse it looks. The roof line and C pillar look “so 1998” as if off the Lincoln LS or the Catera. The front looks disjointed with that big black bumper eyesore and those JC Whitney LEDs. Front does not look integrated like the G8 did. I guess it won’t be a problem since I’ll never see one- none will be sold west of the Mississippi.
