In less than 24 hours, Holden will unveil the 2013 Holden VF Commodore — the car that will make its way to the United States (in one form, or another) as the Chevrolet SS Performance Sedan.
The event will be hosted by Holden Chairman and Managing Director Mike Devereux, as well as Holden Design Director Andrew Smith, and you can watch it right here on this page on:

Don’t see your time zone above? Not to worry: the event is scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 10 2013 at 00:30:00 UTC/GMT.
The unveiling of the VF Commodore which will be a major refresh of the current VE model, comes on the heels of Mr. Devereux announcing that the iconic model will not be discontinued after 2016, as previously reported. Instead, the Commodore nameplate will live on, while being built on a “fantastic” global architecture in Adelaide, Australia.

No
brisbane does not have DST, only southern states do
I felt like this VF Commordore kinda resembles the Jaguar XF and it seems kinda bigger somehow…. the back quarter end kinda looks like the new Malibu or the Regal. It’s more like it looks elegantly stunning
Excellent !! I think the new Commodore looks the goods from every angle and the design boys for the VF should be proud ! For the people who have nothing good to say, all i can do is say SHAME on you for not giving OUR Aussie car a go! Everyone goes on about being proud to be Australian and F the ricers ect. Even getting down the beach and enjoying your day off on Australia day. Well how about supporting our boys, our industry, our jobs……our country ! Dont give me that I dont like it Cr** when you go out and buy a Hyundia! For once people lets put our money where our mouths are and support this car by at least giving it a fair go. If i’m going to call a spade a spade so far the car looks fantastic !
Excellent!!! Australian enginuity, design, manufacture and precision. I’m so glad that Holden decided to extend the commodore series to well beyond the future. So much for Ford, which is very bad for vehicle manufacturing Australia wide. Less competition means higher prices which in the end the consumer pays. I will be definately purchasing the series 2 of this vehicle. No doubt. I currently own a Ve ssV A6 and love it, the VF will be 10 times better I’m sure.
