Cadillac is celebrating the launch of its ATS performance-luxury compact sedan in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by offering test drives at the lively Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). Running February 17-28 of 2013, UAE consumers will be able to get behind the wheel of a brand new 2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 and drive it around DIFC before receiving a $1,000 (USD) voucher to purchase one from the local dealership.
Organized in collaboration with GM’s exclusive authorized Cadillac dealer in the UAE — Liberty Automobiles, the test drive campaign will be set up at the two valet parking entrances of the DIFC; the main entrance of the Gate Village will be the starting point for the drive — and three Cadilalc ATS models cradling the 3.6 liter V6 (LFX) engine rated at 321 horsepower and 275 lb.-ft. of torque will be on hand for consumers to enjoy.
“This innovative Cadillac campaign is all about providing consumers with a truly unique and convenient test drive environment – outside of the dealership – so that they can discover the vehicle’s incredible features firsthand,” said Nadim Ghrayeb, Cadillac Brand Manager at General Motors Middle East. “It is perfectly in line with our mission to deliver exceptional standards of service and unparalleled experiences.”
Those interested can schedule test drives by sending an SMS to 2433. Test drives will be available during a 12-day time frame starting on Sunday (February 17) through Thursday (February 28), from 12:00 pm through 3:00 pm.
The public test drive at DIFC follows the initial Middle Eastern launch of the ATS, as well as the Crossing Horizons proceedings that introduced the ATS to Europe and the Middle East.
The GM Authority Take
The DIFC is pretty much one of the business meccas of Dubai, making it the perfect place to attract and familiarize potential customers with Cadillac and the ATS. So, that’s really quite the creative campaign Cadillac is setting in motion, if you ask us, and we hope it proves successful for The Wreath and Crest brand.
