Yes, This Is A Pink Cadillac ATS

Here’s something you haven’t seen before: a matte pink Cadillac ATS 3.6. This is not a dream, as it’s an actual listing by Sewell Cadillac in Grapevine, Texas. And we don’t see a Mary Kay badge anywhere. Humorously, the paint is listed as Black Raven. Maybe in the wheels.

Still, there’s something about this flat-pink-and-black color scheme we don’t hate. For those brave enough to rock it, the dealer is listing the optioned-out RWD Premium ATS 3.6 for $56,625, roughly $10,000 over MSRP.

  2. Painting a car that color is the second most ridiculous thing I’ve seen today. Most ridiculous is trying to sell it.

  5. I would hope that Cadillac would offer it’s clientele the option to paint their cars in any colour they would like. It wouldn’t matter what others would think; it’s strictly the decision of the client.

As for being a regualr production colour, no, I don’t think it’s appeal is very large. But if certain clients want a pink ATS, it behooves Cadillac to make a pink ATS; no questions.

    1. Cadillac isn’t ultra-lux. I know from when I got my CTS that white diamond is ~$1000, so I’ll assume it’s the same price for the ATS. Now that is a paint that is all ready to go on the line. Introduce a custom colour means it has to be matched, mixed, and brought into the assembly line. I don’t know much about the auto paint process, but I’ll assume the said line would then have to be cleaned after each custom use.
Conservatively, I’d put the price for such a thing at $5-6000. So tack on another 10% to the car’s price tag.. not really worth it for Cadillac or the consumer.

      Maybach or Bentley, that’s different.
The million dollar car club let’s you pick you own colour, want the same colour as the tile in your bathroom, no problem they will match it. Pick your own interior colours and materials too.

  6. Is it Sewell or Sewer Cadillac that is hawking this monstrousity?

  7. Bad…..makes Cadillac look cheap and common….might as well be bright purple or lime………….ugh

    1. Are pink, purple, and lime common colours in your city/state-province/country?

Pink is just as flashy as a yellow Ferrari or a lime green Cayman. Not saying I support the colour, and I would never buy it.. But maybe this is a breast cancer promo car, who knows. If it wasnt, it should be.
I always see cement trucks (CBM) and the odd dump truck painted in the breast cancer livery. That, I think is cool.

  8. I’d expect to see a car like this – fully blinged-out – on the Sunset Strip, in front of an expensive restaurant or trendy nightclub. It would be driven by someone on the reality show “Shahs of Sunset” or as an accessory for the likes of Paris Hilton. You know, it would match her Versace purse and stilettos.

The other use for such a car is as promotion. Love it or hate it, it screams look at me. This is your model for custom rims or your aftermarket paint or customization business. As another commenter mentioned, it also could be another annoying, ubiquitous breast cancer awareness tchotchke. Or maybe an inducement for a Mary Kay sales zombie to push more cheap crap on her customers.

    For me? No f-ing way.

  10. Okay. So I bought this car… BUT I was looking for a Raven Black ATS with the options this one had and this one had been in stock for over 6 months because NO ONE was going to buy it so they offered to remove the body wrap, buff the paint out and give me a huge discount since it had been in inventory for so long. Overall, it was a huge win for me and I love it, but I can’t tell you how gawdawful ugly it was in-person. It was literally pepto bismol pink. Now it is beautiful black.
