Opel Reported To Appoint Karl-Thomas Neumann As New CEO On January 31

News from across the Atlantic tells us that the Opel Supervisory Board has finalized a decision on a new CEO, with plans to officially announce Karl-Thomas Neumann to the position on January 31. He would then reportedly begin officially as Opel’s CEO starting March 1.

Neumann was most recently Volkswagen AG’s chief of Chinese operations, but was shuffled out of the company last June. News that Neumann could be Opel’s new chief began circulating as early as November of last year.
