Opel Appoints Joachim Koschnicke As Vice President Of European Government Relations

Effective January 1, 2013, the Opel management board has appointed 40-year-old Joachim Koschnicke as Vice President of European Government Relations.

He is now responsible for building and expanding Opel’s pan-European relationships to political institutions and organizations as well as governments, associations and businesses. His background is full of extensive management positions, some of which he held as early as his late 20’s, working as a strategic planner for companies like Bosch, then finding his niche in politcs as a member of the strategic planning department of the CDU Germany. In his last position, Joachim Koschnicke was Managing Partner of (*breath*) Forsa Gesellschaft für Sozialforschung und statistische Analyse mbH.

Koschnicke’s experience is expected to make a splash in the Opel board room.
