NAIAS 2013: Chevy Dresses Up Detroit People Mover As 2014 Silverado

Those attending the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit will notice that two Detroit People Mover trains will be wrapped to appear as the 2014 Chevy Silverado towing a horse trailer. In effect, the new Silverado will be rolling through the Detroit skyline (like a boss!), with the following inscription on the tram’s side:

THE ALL-NEW CHEVY SILVERADO
STRONGER, SMARTER, MORE CAPABLE
AVAILABLE SUMMER 2013

Meanwhile, the people mover station at GM’s headquarters at the Renaissance Center will contain images presenting design cues inside and out.

  1. I took a ride on that tram in 1989. I hope it operates as good or better than before.
