Feast your eyes on these images of the 2014 Corvette C7, reportedly from an upcoming magazine (can you guess which one?).
The Front
This is a higher angle pic of the C7’s front end than the original leaked photo. Notice the air vents on the hood and on the hips. We wonder if the latter units are functional…
The Back
Call it aggressive, call it Camaro-inspired, call it whatever you want… this is the rear end of the new Vette. Period.
Notice the lower bumper cover/valance is body color, unlike the original leaked photo of the C7’s tail. And what’s up with the Corvette insignia below the crossed flags? Is that really necessary? Do people not know that the crossed flags stand for Corvette? We imagine that will be one of the first things to be removed by new owners.
The Interior
We already knew a great deal about the technologies the Corvette C7 will offer in the cabin, including all kinds of performance-related gadgetry, along with a digital instrument panel. Notice the new steering wheel, a very driver-focused cockpit, and the small circular knob behind the shifter. Also, is that an electric park brake to the right of the circular knob?

Hell yeah!!
Wow.. That looks nice.. But people can’t wait 3 more hours.. Gotta spoil it for everybody just playing.. But that looks great inside and out.. I like the whole interior cluster.. I say 10/10, great update over the c6.. Good job GM
Looks like there is a notch in the door just below the touch pad.. because notches for the sake of notches are cool, amirite?
Same goes for the, presumably, faux inlets on the rear haunches
Probably brake vents? I’m sure theres a real reason.
a bit far back and weirdly placed to be air inlets for brake cooling.
If they are functional, I’d say they are providing air to the diff, similar to the SRT Viper differential cooling ducts. And again like the Viper, the ducts on the rear fascia might be pulling air from under the car
Also, those rear ducts may relieve pressure from the rear wheel wells
Hhhhhhnnnnnngggghhhh Just a few more hours…..
Hot!!
Not digging the side profile the slightest bit.
Bet the convertible looks better–with the top down.
drove a z06. was not that impressed. ran hot, fishtailed all over the place, shifting was lousy/notchy. steering wheel was crap compared to my Gen Coupe.
Handling was decent but that was about it.
Z06 is the best Corvette in the C6 lineup. Have you drive a 500+HP car before? For it’s weight and power it is actually very controllable and can pull off a pretty impressive lateral g.
I’ve tracked a 2009 Z06, and used the same car, very sloppily, for autoX. I wouldn’t blame the car necessarily for the driving dynamics you encountered.
The Gen Coupe is a fine car, but if you thought because it has 270-350hp and is RWD that you could drive the Z06 the exact same, you’re wrong.
yes. the handling is decent but again my gripes remain. I just dont see how you can hook up fast if the torque kicks the back end out so easy but I am used to a V6 R-spec which just hooks up but is slower.
Gripes on z06
car got super hot on footwell in traffic
shifting was so so and notchy
steering wheel was slippery and shoddy.
even with TC it fishtailed in 1st and 2nd gear.
wait, you’re not comparing a GENESIS coupe to a C6 Z06 are you? really…!
The inside look like it came out of 80’s tv show , remember Knight Rider??
The rear looks like a Star Wars version of the Camaro. A Corvette should never remind you of a Camaro. Proud C6 Grand Sport owner.
This is a dog and pony show for the simple goof balls of America. They can be manipulated and tooled so easily. Just ask glorious leader obama as he leads the gullible citizens by the nose into tyranny.
Within a minute of the reveal, the website will be dripping with criticism and frustration.
Really? Sorry, but i didn`t like. The rear is SO weird. Those 4 air ducts so close from each other, look like a massive weapon of descruction. Z6 is way more cool. The front remember me a Ferrari, the front lights is the SAME.
