Opel’s flagship car, the Insignia, is due for a refresh in the near future, and it appears the European market and other regions will receive just that by the 2014 model year. As for what to expect visually, the latest spy photos found on Motor Trend give us the best look yet, with slightly touched-up lights and front grille. And is that a hatchback rear opening we see? Of course, the Insignia is available in three body styles in Europe: sedan, wagon, and sedan-like hatchback.
It might be the zebra camo, but something about the Insignia’s new look appears Honda/Toyota-esque. But we will await the final product before we can pass judgement.
Secondly, seeing as the two are siblings, this facelifted Insignia also gives us hints as to what we can expect from the 2014 Buick Regal here in the U.S. market, which is also do for a refresh.

If they bring it here as a Buick they need to take the windshield wiper off the trunk lid.
That rear deck lid is looking mighty short, which leads me to believe it’s a hatch, which also explains the rear wiper.
Compare the rear end to the current regal or image #5 on MotorTrend and it is pretty obvious what is going on
I see what your saying, if that is the case, I hope your right.
Lots of European and Japanese spec sedans have rear wipers. But the vertical position of the wiper does scream hatchback. Look above the rear windshield as well. You can see the shutline of the hatch. But still, the hatchback Insignia doesn’t look that different from the sedan. Both are gorgeous machines.
you are the first web site to notice the hatchback in fact it is good eye notice the upper hinge area near the roof line. might see US again Might.
Wow that rear windshield wiper looks really weird. It appears to be very practical for cleaning the windshield, but it doesn’t do too well in styling.
It is a 5 door hatc. You can also subscribe without kojameheta Passat CC as it is beautiful.
5 door hatc it is meaningless window sweepers. Wagon Window Sweeper is a suitable and effective manner.
Old Vectra 5 door cube was beautiful window wiper
Pretty sure the 5-door hatch is required to have the rear window wiper.. Anything with shared cabin area and trunk needs it.
A wagon is a 5 door hatch btw, or a 3 door hatch. Body style (wagon vs sedan) doesnt change the amount of technical cabin doors.
where are getting pics of the back of it
