Matching the gavel price of Dan Akerson’s personal 1958 Chevrolet Corvette was Guy Fieri’s Corvette of his own, with his personalized 2013 427 Convertible selling for an equal $270,000. All the proceeds benefit Cooking With Kids, a program by the Guy Fieri Foundation for Inspiration and Imagination.
Fieri’s LS7-powered drop-top is unique with its black with custom yellow stripes, and it probably smells like a diner kitchen.

Obviously the buyer didnt realize 2 crucial things:
1. Guy Fieri
2. It is the opposite of the Hertz Vette.
But on the upside, if they forget what car they just bought, it has a reminder on the windshield
hertz corvettes dont have the 427
Very true, but unless you’re in a skeletal frame car rarely do you see the engine. But if you see a custom black and yellow painted Vette, you’re more likely to assume it’s a Hertz rental than go “that’s a four-twenty-seven”
nice car but probably smells like hair dye and hamburgers
OK come on “guy”s, that is a bad ass car. Not that I wouldn’t want the 60th Anniversary Package colors! and anyone that loves food has hot to be a fan the holder of one of the best jobs ever!
your right. I would take the car in a minute, and i always watch triple D.
I agree. I kinda like the yellow! I would also agree to meet with him so he could see his car any time he is in town!! 😉
I agree. I kinda like the yellow! I would also agree to meet with him so he could see his car any time he is in town!! 😉 My own personal Guy likes his show too and we head to TripleD spots in any town we are in. Who wouldn’t want to do what he does for a living? Sheesh!! 🙂
Good for him…donating money for a good cause…that says a lot about this guy…love his show and like him even more now…what a class act!!!!!
