Community Question: Do You Like Chevy’s New Tag Line? (With Poll)

Find New Roads” will be the global tag line that Chevrolet will fall back on for the foreseeable future. It’s a tag that can be easily understood in any language, though some would argue it’s shallow and lacks charisma. Others may find the simple tag refreshing, digestible, and is just fine. But to really gauge it, we’ve provided a poll for you to let us know what you think. Feel free to elaborate in the comment section below.

    1. Oh, I will say, it is a good tag line if it can be used properly

  2. find new roads is a great tagline for OnStar navigation. It’s too bland for the heartbeat of America.

  3. It’s allllll-right. Actually not bad if it implies new modes of propulsion in people’s minds.

I prefer “Go Farther” from Ford because it’s more blatant in that respect. I think the word “Forward” should be GM’s new tag – or would they have to run that by Obama’s
    folks before they published it?

“Find New Roads” sounds a bit like it would fit for Garmin or TomTom….hmmmm

Don’t we all wish car companies would spend as much time coming up with
new technology as they do figuring out a new slogan? We all must admit “Chevy
Runs Deep” was awful and has to goooooo!

  4. Why don’t they just do “Go Beyond”??

  5. How about “king of the road”

  6. How about “Find new management” ?

    1. Wow, it was tough to decide which comment here was actually best, I like the “Forge new Roads” one, but I think Find New Management is the most appropriate one.

  7. The greatest tagline in Chevy history was “see the USA in your Chevrolet”. It was sung by Doris Day and anyone older than 60 will know it. Next is “like a rock”.

That being said the “Find new Roads” is an update of the Doris Day tagline to fit world wide. I guess they could have “see the world in your Chevrolet”

  8. Find New Roads will work with proper music and imagery.
In the United States they should use See the USA in your Chevrolet — maybe the group Train could sing it — they actually like cars.

  9. Its a modern interpretation of “See the USA in your Chevrolet”, which I like. I wish they could come up with something a little more inspiring than “Find New Roads”, though. A bit too bland in an industry full of mediocre tag-lines. Overrall: Great idea not executed properly. Grade:C

  11. Why not “Forge New Roads” or “Make Your Road”? Those sound far more empowering.
