Cadillac Launches V-Series Driving Academy

January marks the public opening of Cadillac V-Series Academy, an educational driving academy out of Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch just outside of Las Vegas. Participants will practice car control exercises and on-track performance driving all in the name of exploring the capabilities of Cadillac’s V-Series line of high performance vehicles.

More than a “grab the keys and hoon” show, the V-Series Academy curriculum was designed by famed race car driver and winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona and Le Mans Ron Fellows, while the Spring Mountain Motorsports course offers over four miles of track and 125 feet of elevation change — making for a challenging and attention-demanding automotive playground.

Cadillac will offer V-Series Academy courses throughout the year, and each class is limited to 12 students per session. A one-day session is priced at $1,295, while a two-day immersion runs $2,295. Participants will be provided with CTS-Vs at Spring Mountain, and do not drive their own vehicles at the academy. Those interested can register at CadillacVAcademy.com.

  1. Smart move — can only serve to increase interest in the brand. Would have loved to see this in SE Michigan, but I get Vegas: more potential customers due to tourism.
