Build Your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Right Now

The weather is Michigan is absolutely frigid, and it’s starting to get old. Thankfully, Springtime is right around the corner, and with it, the launch of the new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. And to give customers an idea of how they might want to configure their new truck, Chevrolet has already launched a microsite for the vehicle, which includes a configurator. Of course, we wasted no time in building our own.

Personally, the clean look of a Silverado LT single cab with the Z71 package (shown above) suits us just fine. Pricing isn’t currently available, but it’s still fun to see what you can come up with. So go on and build your own 2014 Silverado by clicking here.

PS: hit the “Customize a 2014 Silverado” button once you get to the Silverado page. If you’re on a mobile device, click here instead.

  1. I’ve always like the look of the Escalde EXT in white diamond tri-coat, but that colour just doesnt seem to fit with the Silverado. And unfortunately, as they say, if it looks good in white it’s been well designed. I know trucks fall under a different category for that saying, but I’m still not a huge fan of the new look. They weren’t bold enough and I think/know Ford will bring a great looking F150 to the table.

Anyways, back to the configurator, it’s the same old story for how I have and will continue to order trucks:

Crew cab – regular box (was that an option on the current ‘Rado? Mine had a short box and I thought that was that in terms of a crew cab)
20″ polished alum wheels.. It’s a big wheel well, and having massive amount of rubber side wall on small wheels just doesnt work for me.
Colour- I like the brownstone and the blue topaz, and the classic black.. I’d have to see each in person.. actually I wont rule the white diamond out just yet until I see it
    Z71 LT package/ trim

With that said, you’d be more likely to find me on the GMC lot signing for a similar spec Sierra

    1. Have you seen the Ford Atlas Concept? The truck looks like a Super Duty concept from 2008, and it’s supposed to be a huge indicator of what we can expect from the new F-150. Meaning the new F-Series too, is conservative in its design. The aerodynamic and truck bed features on the truck are pretty cool, though.

I agree with you on the White Diamond. Summit White, however…

  2. Hey GM can we please get a standard transmission back in the Silverado, a 5 speed would be great…I would like to buy a new 2014 Chevy 4×4 truck but will not buy one unless it has a standard trans.

  3. Maybe a 2wd reg cab short box with the 6.2 in black. But I think I want the crew cab LTZ with a standard bed in Ruby red with 20″ chrome rims.

  4. I want a paited front facia, when you choose WT with black color it looks really sharp all black, just too bad you can’t get that painted with LTZ.

    1. That’s a very good point. Body color front fascia would be great regardless of the trim level.

  5. Where’s the ZR-2 option?

  6. I read a lot of the stuff on the Silverado’s new site, and I saw they put a ton of work into it. The looks threw me off, I wasn’t expecting it to be much better, but now this truck really looks like it may knock the F-150 off its high perch.
