Opel Reported To Trim Output By Over 10 Percent In 2013

With the European car market in a slump, and Opel itself not exactly doing too well, either, the brand has reportedly opted to trim its production output by more than 10 percent for next year. In total, GM’s European unit plans to produce 845,000 vehicles for 2013.

Opel/Vauxhall birthed 1.19 million cars at its Opel and Vauxhall plants in Europe in 2011. We can expect full 2012 production figures in the coming days, as we enter the new year.
