At least six members from Hot Rod magazine admit to not having a shred of road course experience. Lucky for them, they had the the privilege to attend the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in order to bring them up to speed. And lucky for us, the cameras were rolling.
At the facility, the instructors at Bondurant sit the Hot Rod staff down in a classroom to explain several driving maneuvers and exercises, before applying them on the track shortly after. Everything from the heel-toe shift to the trailing brake were utilized while driving just slightly modified Corvette Grand Sport coupes. It’s something we hope to experience someday.
