This should bring joy and cheer to many a Pontiac fan: the 6T9 (’69, get it?) Goat concept by TransAm Depot take a fifth-gen Chevy Camaro and — depending on your taste — either beautifies it or pummels it with the ugly stick. The car features original front and rear fascias as well as Goat/GTO badging on the exterior and in the cabin.
According to TransAm Depot:
The 6T9 Goat concept was created by designer Kevin Morgan to capture the look and feel of the classic ’69 GTO Judge. The 1969 GTO is considered by many to be one of the top ten muscle cars of all time. Available this fall, this modern day version incorporates the look of yesteryear with the modern convenience and technology of today.
So, is the 6T9 Goat hot or not, and would you do this to your Camaro? Vote in the poll and then sound off in the comments!

Screw political correctness: this is gay.
A gay car?????? crazy
It’s ugly!
IT IS UGLY
it really pretty much kills it
I am a Pontiac fan and I own a 45th Anniversary Camaro. This abomination is insulting to me.
I’d love to see a re-created 65 GTO…..now that would be the best 🙂
I like it, looks as good as the firebirds, real retro, hide away headlites, probably looks better in person, but i don’t think I’ll do it to my camaro.
No style, class or respect for heritage in this.
At all.
I have yet to see a pontiac transam/gto redo off the 5th gen camaro that works and isnt over exagerated… For me this example needs to be toned down a bit. the hood protrusion is rediculously over exagerated…
And they said retro styling was good looking….HA! My big fat ass it is!
This is a way better concept than what the Camaro looks like without these upgrades.
they might have pulled it off if they tried to make a ’69 Trans Am. The GTO/LeMans is just a little off.
TOO retro, but good looking none the less. Actually, this is a perfect example of how the current Camaro is actually more Muscle car sized than pony. The proportions of the car fall right in line for what one would expect of a modern Chevelle, GTO. Cutlass 442 or Buick GS.
My only complaint is a wish for a little more styling refinement and not such a slavish facsimile of the past. And WTH happened with those hood scoops?!?
Pontiac was always a cool looking hot car. The early sixties nothing could touch pontiac. I hope g m wakes up this time and gets the division back where it should be. The cars always looked customized. I like this new styling, and glad trans am depot is doing what should be done.
