The “King Camaro ZL1” Really Isn’t A ZL1 Camaro At All (With Video)

The King Camaro ZL1 done up by Tampa’s 813 customs is a lot of things. Misunderstood is definitely one of them. An acquired taste is definitely another. It’s also deceiving, as it’s not even a Camaro ZL1 in the first place. Sure, the front fascia looks the part, but its life began as a 6.2L LS3-powered Camaro SS, many modifications ago.

There. We can all feel better now. And the video below captures a bit of what went into making this controversial machine (and we take notice that there is indeed a supercharger under the hood). But be warned, the track playing over the video is extremely NSFW. Stay classy, Florida.
