After losing his esteemed position as GM’s global chief marketing officer this past July, Joel Ewanick made do by acting as a consultant to several businesses revolving in and around the automotive industry, according to Automotive News. For the past six weeks, he was a marketing consultant for Fisker, a company now run by former Chevrolet Volt chief engineer Tony Posawatz as of August.
Just recently, Fisker had announced the retirement of 58-year-old Richard Beattie, the company’s global marketing and sales chief. Shortly after, Fisker released a statement announcing Ewanick as Beattie’s interim replacement. It’s possible that  GM’s former marketing boss could assume a permanent role at Fisker, but company spokespersons declined to comment on the notion.
Hopefully Fisker can rebound from its recent quality issues and prosper, and not become a place where GM careers go to die.

Fisker is a revolving door for executives, I’m sure this is only a stop-gap.
He only has one item in his playbook- 90 day return policy if you don’t like your Fisker?
