Arkadiy Okhman is a software engineer who decided to go back to school, choosing automotive design as his new major. And he picked one of the best schools to attend: the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan. And recently, he came up with is the above set of future Chevrolet Camaro images that look as if they could give Lamborghini a run for its money.
This much more sleeker and compact Camaro than the likes of any we have ever seen (as most design studies are), is sure to spark a reaction from you readers. How soon do you think vehicles like this will be on the road, if ever? Does the fact that it’s called a Camaro have anything to do with your reaction? Sound off in the comments below.

It looks like pure concept fantasy and not even remotely realistic. And I note the tiny greenhouse. They say the current camaro has gun-slit windows and is dark inside as a result; this would be far worse. On the plus side, it does have some very cool side-sculpting.
major blindspots
interesting….
This new design for the Chevrolet Camaro is sexy as hell!!! This is exactly what the General needs to achieve more customer appeal! I believe it could go into production as early as 2022 and should be built in the Oshawa Ontario Assembly plant in Canada.
Go back to school it looks terrible.
hahahaha thats exactly wgat i was thinking
doesn’t look like a camaro to me. how about back to the future ?
Too busy. Too many lines of different types — like the sharp haunch that juts out
from the rounded melted blob motif that dominates.
These types of conceptualization don’t really take into account practical elements
like human dimensions or a back seat. They’re more for a design language and
to guage public opinion. In all, way too many lines and folds, and the
tacked-on look of the “grille” to throwback a Camaro nostalgia is poorly done.
Aero would suffer, and it’s face doesn’t match it’s body.
I will say this designer wants Camaro to be a two-seater and not the
sports coupe it’s always been. This would make the whole name-design point moot.
In all, I say it’s a mish mash that really doesn’t accomplish anything.
In this case…..Quit your day job!
Wow that’s ugly. Looks more like a really ugly notch-back Mustang.
In the day where anyone can sketch something up and do a photoshop rendering this rendering leaves allot to be desired… the car design is not significant enough to even post… this is a studio 2 level design which means if this guy is in studio 4 or 5 he needs to work on his skillset… Sorry to be the bearer of bad news…
Why stop at 25″ wheels? Why not just eliminate the tires entirely?
disgusting !
i hope that i have a piece of Future experirnce with yet brcause i believe that it will be very interessing.
