2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Inserted Into Gran Turismo 5 (With Video)

Without a doubt, the all-new Corvette is the most anticipated vehicle that will debut at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in a short two months time. And we have spy photos and renderings aplenty to get a feel what we’re in for. There’s even a fully animated CGI-video of the car that was made before its official debut.

However, it didn’t stop the 2014 Corvette C7 from finding its way into a video game before its official unveiling. According to GT Planet, Polyphony Digital,  the software development studio behind the popular Gran Turismo 5 racing simulator game, has already been given the license allowing it to insert the new C7 into the game.

Currently, the camouflaged C7 mule only appears during a random collage of cars that runs during the screensaver mode on GT5, but cannot be driven just yet. Regardless, it’s still a cool Easter egg.

  1. A pity as only 6 people on earth still play GT5.

Should’ve appeared in Forza 4 and Horizon.

  2. I love GT5! I’m surprised that the developers of this game made this Corvette because they are maddly in love with Nissan. They have more Nissans in GT5 than Ferraris and Lamborghinis combined for the game.

This game’s developers (Polyphony Digital) made the graphics for the GTR’s navi, you know.
