General Motors is recalling 2,949 2012 Buick Verano sedans, Chevrolet Cruze sedans along with Sonics in the United States, for the same reason they were recalled in Canada. The issue is that the driver’s front airbag may not deploy in a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which as we all know is bad. Those affected can visit their local GM dealer, where it will replace the steering wheel airbag coil. Owners can also contact GM at 1-800-521-7300.

So far mine only needed the washer hose secured and they replaced the fuel feed line with a more substantial line. It has more substantial metal end connectors that are less likely to leak in a rollover. It wasn’t a real recall…GM did it just to be extra safe.
Dodged the brake pad recall and some others. (Late 2011 built Sonic)
It is based on VIN , and not all of these recalls apply.
