It might appear to have a neutral black oval in the middle of the massive grille, but don’t let it fool you. This spy photo has next-generation Cadillac Escalade written all over it.
It’s hard to get a good idea of what the next big Caddy will look like, but from what we can tell it’s carrying on an evolutionary approach, continuing with the gridiron grill and otherwise imposing figure. The big mystery is what’s both inside the cabin and beneath the hood. The CUE system should be expected, along with a more refined fit and finish of things, but pretty much anything beyond that is unknown.
As for the engine, well we can take some clues the new LT1 6.2L V8 small block destined for the C7 Corvette in that it’s a surefire bet that the new Escalade will have a direct injection system, among other things. As for a twin-turbo V6 engine… it’s possible.
