Chevrolet Onix Subcompact Hatchback Officially Revealed In Brazil

We might not think about it all that much, but Brazil is GM’s third-largest market in the world by volume, just behind China and the United States. So when the São Paulo Auto Show commences, GM will reveal vital models for the market, the latest of which is the Chevrolet Onix hatchback, a vehicle that was entirely engineered and designed in Brazil.
Related to the Chevrolet Sonic and Trax, the Onix is equipped with a 1.4 liter, four cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and a MyLink infotainment system inside. It can also hold on to the football better than the entire Detroit Lions offense. Probably.
Wow, uh… Ya forget the sonic and hook me up with this handsome vehicle…
You might wanna take a look at the photos of the side of the Onix.
It isn’t a looker and I think the Sonic has it beat by far.
Yabadabadoo You seriously don’t want any of these non-global developing market GM cars. They are market specific for a reason, mostly because they seek to serve the most basic need of transportation as cheaply as possible.
Forget fun to drive, these things are cheaply designed, engineered and manufactured. They’re not fun, not safe, and not comfortable; the quality is poor for those who have become accustomed to quality vehicles (like most Americans and Europeans have). It suits the developing markets fine and sells for 3/4 or 1/2 of what the real deal might sell for (like a Sonic/Aveo).
They might look ok, but they’re not even close to the globally sold car like a Sonic/Aveo.
I like the front but not the back the back is just a little to boring
Looks terrific!!!
looks sharp but i’m with silent electrician on this one
SE, no question you are correct, looks decent…
