Holden Announces Alchemy Color For Commodore and Caprice Ranges

In announcing the special-edition Z-Series Range for the Commodore, Sportwagon, and Ute, Holden also announced a new color for the Zeta-based VE Commodore and WM Caprice ranges. Called Alchemy, the new hue is a deep purple that GM’s Australian division says was inspired by Holden’s beautiful and stunning Efijy concept.

The rendering above is the only available image of the Alchemy color as of this writing. We will update this post as soon as we get our hands on more photos. But while we do that, why cant we get an awesome hue like Alchemy in the U.S. of A?

  2. My first car was a similar color, but blacker. Its name, “Black Tulip” described it well.

  3. Very close. Another Classic of British Leyland. The Morris Marina. Great Student beater that took me around Europe, covering thousands of miles, only to break down 100 miles after I got back to England…..
DUF463L was recycled thanks to my brother totaling it. He did that to several cars….
