It doesn’t get much better for Cadillac Racing. With the final race in the books, the points officially tallied, and another season finally over, the team finishes with a clean sweep of the SCCA Pirelli World Challenge Series championships.
With several victories, and podium consistency through the whole season, Cadillac drove away with the manufacturer’s title with 89 points. Second-place Volvo had 69, just edging Porsche with 68. To drive the point home, Johnny O’Connell finished fifth during the Cadillac Sonoma Grand Prix,  finished 149 points ahead of teammate Andy Pilgrim (who finished second) for the Driver’s title. So not only did Caddy win the manufacturer’s title, but finished 1-2 for the driver’s championship.
