We’re not sure how thorough a men’s fashion and lifestyle magazine can be when it comes to testing cars, but if there’s anything Esquire knows, it has to be style. And it was pretty unanimous among the editorial staff that the Cadillac ATS provided them with enough class, soul, and technology for the all-new sedan to be the new “it” car.
The ATS also didn’t have the advantage of a weak field of contestants. Emerging victorious over vehicles the like BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe and Range Rover Evoque really goes to show how well done the new Cadillac is overall. Though we have yet to drive one for ourselves.

“This from the only luxury-car brand America has left.”
That’s the sound of Lincoln fan-boy’s heart shattering.
Right you are about Lincoln, a once iconic brand that has been mismanaged to complete disaster. They thought that MKT “wagon” would be accepted by the black-car fleet??? They have some “young” hot-shot design director- I guess they confused youth for talent.
Back to the ATS, I shall reserve judgment on it until I see one in person, but the front end/outline reminds me of the 67-68 Eldorado- that’s a good thing. And it’s RWD- sounds like Cadillac IS serious.
Here you go file this under more work for you guys. How about GM Authority car of the year.
If I can have any one care from GM right now, I want the All-wheel ATS. Then maybe have Hennessy boost the engine… where is that ats-v hiding?
Give me the coupe and I’d be happy…………………………:)
Good choice…anxious to see how it will sell…….I hear XTS is doing extrmely well
Can dealer install fog lights and rear camera? Of course it should be standard…..Cadillac should offer “luxury” features on every car!!!
