Buick has released pricing and equipment group details on the 2013 Verano. The changes themselves are few and far between, but are significant in the long run of things for the brand.
The 2013 Verano starts at $23,080 — $495 more than the outgoing 2012 model’s price of $22,585; the increase in price nets customers a standard rear vision camera for the base trim level.
One step higher is the Convenience Group, which for 2013 has a starting price of $24,375. That’s $590 higher than the 2012’s price of $23,785 while adding side blind zone alert with rear cross traffic alert.
The top-of-the-line Leather Group starts at $26,755 for the 2013 Verano, or $790 more than the 2012’s price of $25,965; it adds nothing in and of itself, but contains the features added to the base and Convenience groups.
Note that the prices above don’t include an $885 destination charge.
The GM Authority Take
The Verano is following the trend set out by its bigger brothers, the Regal, LaCrosse, and Enclave, in increasing content while raising price. In that regard, Buick seems to be well on its way to becoming a luxury brand worthy of the “L” word. If it can continue to boost the price and content of its vehicles every year, doing so should elevate the brand’s public image and prestige in no time. Keep on keeping on, Buick!

Dear god get rid of those angry chrome eyebrows
Excellent, this the direction Buick should be heading.
Funny, there’s no mention of the “pony-tail” friendly seats/headrests?
Where is the price for the turbo?
I agree with the assbrow comment: make the back end look more like a Buick and show some restraint. Hopefully that can be modified for 2014.
The Verano turbo is priced at $29,990:
