Another recall to mention today, GM is recalling 4,716 model-year 2013 versions of the Chevrolet Sonic due to issues relating to the turn-signal lamp, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The issue is that if the turn-signal lamp fails to function, the body control module will not warn the driver of the malfunction. This could lead to a crash.
Specifically, the models involved were manufactured from May 29 through Aug. 29, 2012. Owners can check their vehicle’s build date on a sticker on the driver-side doorjamb.
GM will notify owners starting Oct. 3, and dealers will replace the affected parts free of charge.

Why would they recall something that nobody uses?
