What It’s Like To Drive A 750 Horsepower Cadillac CTS-V (Video)

What Matt Farah is driving in the video below may look like your typical Cadillac CTS-V. But it’s far from. Within moments of watching, it’s quickly noted that this vehicle is louder, it’s faster, it stops shorter, and it corners harder than your factory Cadillac CTS-V. That’s a Stage 4 tuning package from D3, and it gives the CTS-V a freakish 750 horsepower to the crank. That’s 650 horsepower to the wheels, and 640 lb-ft of torque to the wheels. A three-inch Corsa exhaust only amplifies this exclamation.
This sort of power is attained by seemingly minimal updates. A larger fuel pump, a smaller supercharger pulley, and a much larger intercooler are pretty much it. Luckily, the suspension and brakes received significant upgrades to handle this beast — but at a price. This D3 V sits so low that it becomes unpractical. The bodywork can also be considered to be unpractical, as Farah demonstrates. But what’s Farah’s bottom line? Watch the video and find out.
