Drifting is not only for imports, as evidenced by the following performance by Luke Longberger and the 2005 No. 28 C6 Corvette at the Formula DRIFT series at New Jersey’s Wall Speedway.
Longberger took on the Lexus SC430 piloted by Japan’s Daigo Saito, who just so happens to be the #2-ranked driver in Formula D this year. After a stellar first-round performance, Longerger spun out the Vette in the chase session, giving Saito the win that advanced him to the next round. Event though the American steel didn’t win this time around, it still makes it a fun even to watch, nonetheless:
