This Cruze Coupe Rendering Is Sexy

We don’t know when the ladies and gentlemen at General Motors will finally get with the program and approve a two-door version of the Chevy Cruze. All we know is that this rendering is gorgeous.

We remain hopeful that the coupe will finally become a reality with the next-generation Cruze due in 2015.

    1. Practicality is for people who care about it. I don’t. I have a Camaro SS that is practical for me. And my wife would buy a coupe Cruze if she could. Instead she is looking at a Kia Forte Koup. A KIA for crying out loud. And then everyone is in awe why Cruze sales are down.

  7. I would hope for something a little more sporty. Looks like something Toyota or Honda would make which is a practical, boring 2 door. Just look at a Forte coupe or Focus. This is pretty conservative.

    1. So sedans aren’t fun whereas the impracticallity of a coupe is?

  12. GM’s history is to NOT listen. Had GM listened or evan watched what was going on an ATS type rig would have been on the streets 30 years ago….Not the fool Cimarron or the next great thing the Cadillac Catera. The Caddy that zigs into oblivion. Thats just Cadillac what about the rest of GM…………..Thats Not Your Fathers Oldsmobile….boy GM got that right. My Fathers Oldsmobile was cool.

I like compact sedans with a decent power to weight more than I’d like the same car in a coupe. Thats not true for everyone. Some may want the coupe and they should be able to buy one. It would be nice to get a CRUZE coupe or sedan with 202hp in all models from the LS to the LTZ to staisfy those that would not have the money for the Verano, ATS.

  15. The current body style of the Cruze would be GREAT to have a coupe in it’s line-up and GM actually COULD build it a.s.a.p. if they had an overly agressive Boss to put a deadline into action but the real problem of today is that today’s GM is not the same as the GM we once knew whether it was the Chevy Vega days or even as late as the Heartbeat of America days (those 1987-1988 Chevrolet commercials will never be topped) so we all have to realize that the almighty GM (of today) is being very cautious as what to bring to the showroom and hopefully our city streets. Seriously, GM needs another Ed Cole to take command of the helm, see what’s missing in the line-up, look at the competition out there who has the product, and hold the necessary meetings with the higher-ups to convince them that IT HAS TO BE DONE in order to capture the American market as it once had…..TIME WILL TELL.
