Think quick: what’s the best use of a Chevrolet Optra? If you answered something to the extent of “turn it into a wanna-be muscle car from a competing manufacturer”, then you’re thinking along the lines of the folks at Big Daddy Customs, a modifications and tuning company based in India.
BDC took what we can only imagine was an unassuming Optra (aka Daewoo Lacetti) and did their best to make it look like the famed Eleanor Mustang from Gone in 60 Seconds. That’s Top Gear’s Reasonably Priced Car trying to get away with dressing up as a high-performance pony car. See anything wrong with this here situation?
Ironically, the Lacetti is still on sale in India as the Chevrolet Optra as well as in China, albeit with a few upgrades, as the very popular Buick Excelle. The India-market Optra slots between the Cruze and Aveo from a pricing perspective. Our question, though, is why Big Daddy didn’t convert the Optra into something else with a Bow Tie… like, say, a Camaro. At least then, they wouldn’t have to swap out the badges. On second thought, they would.
We can already see Mustang loyalists crying foul after seeing this wanna-be Frankenstein’s creation, especially after seeing the rear decklid sticker that reads “Muscle Always Wins”. For now, we’ll just call it EleaNOT.

With that front fascia, it should be a Skoda or a Tata. Looks like J. C. Whitney catalog parts.
