Highly Refreshed Buick LaCrosse Caught Testing In China

From the other side of the world comes spy photos of a Buick LaCrosse getting ready for its mid-cycle refresh, with some big changes inside and out.

Both the front and rear fascias of the 2014 LaCrosse are heavy cloaked in black, but from what we can make out, the LaCrosse will join in on the LED daylamp fad, while a pair of exhaust tips sit flush with the bumper in the back. At a glance, the interior features a redone center console, IP and steering wheel. What kind of software we’ll see is a mystery.

We can expect an official unveiling of the refreshed Buick possibly during November’s Guangzhou Auto Show in China, where it will probably launch first.

  1. The wiper on the right side looks like it will be very effective keeping rain off the A pillar.

  5. When the LaCrosse is updated also offer some real engine options such as: an E-assist V6 and a Twin-turbo V6…next build a true Buick flagship model called either the Electra or Park Avenue with Twin-turbo V6 & V8 engines available and cylinder deactivation. The Regal also needs a Turbo V6 with AWD. I’m keeping my 3800 /SC Ultra & Regal GS until Buick gets some Caddy-like power under the hood. They both get over 30-mpg on highway even with SLP pulleys on the superchargers.
