A bit lot of rain didn’t stop this Cadillac D3 driver from overtaking a Lamborghini Gallardo, among others, at the F1 Shanghai Circuit at the Super Moto Gala 2012 (try saying that fast ten times in a row). According to the folks at D3, the CTS-V Coupe reached speeds of 160 mph in the rain and maintained traction with its stock PS2 rubber. Like so:
Did someone say Standard of the World? And as it turns out, not only are those D3 folks not afraid to crash a popular BMW-focused event, but they also aren’t afraid of some rain; we’d bet the Chinese ladies and gentlemen in attendance at it up.
PS: if you don’t have time to watch the whole thing, the CTS-V Coupe passes the Lambo around the 2:25 mark.

So in other words, no proles allowed; not even to watch the event.
