CUE Update Coming With Cadillac ATS Launch

Cadillac’s CUE system has been the subject of mixed reviews right out of the gate as critics got to experience it for the first time as it was introduced with the new XTS sedan. Some have praised Cadillac for releasing such a program, calling it Apple-like, and providing an instant wow-factor. However, once some got past the original sheen, they found that operating it is not as smooth as most would have expected, and is sometimes overly complicated. We’ve come to learn that a patch is on the way. Very soon.

As the ATS begins official production and gears up its launch, the Cadillac CUE infotainment system will receive its first software update after being on the market for barely a few months. While it’s not yet clear as to how GM will provide the CUE update to existing XTS buyers, we expect that the update will happen sometime in September. Consumers can also rest assured that those involved will be constantly looking for more and more ways to improve the CUE system, so we can expect even more updates down the road.

What a big lie. The employee in charge of delivering the car did not know anything about the cue system.
