For the 2013 model year, the Chevy Silverado 1500 and its Hybrid variant receive a few minimal changes — the most notable of which are three new colors, including Deep Ruby Metallic, White Diamond Tricoat, and Blue Topaz Metallic. Conversely, the Imperial Blue Metallic and Black Granite metallic colors are deleted.
In addition, the 2013 Silverado gets a set of all-terrain tires (rather than the on-/off-road units found on the 2012 models) and a few LPO options are discontinued, including the sliding bed divider, cargo management system rails, overhead utility rack, and the enough-to-make-a-rapper jealous deluxe chrome package.
Overall the changes are minimal in light of the all-new Silverado based on the K2XX platform that will bow for the 2014 model year. Here are all of the changes:

I really hope that the new Suburban and Silverado have an extensively updated interior. The current ones just look outdated compared to the F-150 and Ram.
My 2013 5.3 Silverado only gets 10.3 mpg highway its truly a piece of junk I absolutely hate the truck I parked it and yanked the tags off it last October and went back to my old trusty 1994 Silverado
I don’t know about the RAM but the F series I saw had a 2 foot wide center console, with a console mounted automatic shifter, YUCK! That stuff belongs in the Lincoln MK13 Versache addition not a truck.
Really? Was it the work truck? Every F-series I’ve seen has had a floor-mounted one.
is alex lufts’ middle initials GM? by far the ugliest truck interiors (talkin’ ’bout American born and owned) is ford with their “squared fill-in-the- box “look., and that huge console with shifter, standard on above XLT trim levels.
Sorry unclemikey… what are you talking about now?
Have you even driven an F-Series lately, yet alone sat in one?
read my first reply GM , yes to both of your ?’s. your point?
The point is that I’m disagreeing with you:
1. I find the F-Series to be the best-designed truck on the market, and
2. The same for the F-Series’ interior.
Seeing that the F-Series has been the best-selling truck for the last 3+ decades, the rest of America disagrees with you as well. GM needs to address issues like interior design (and quality) along with bland exterior styling head-on with the next-gen trucks.
Now, what about middle initials and what not?
Hate my 2011 Chevy clunker. I was told that it is normal since it was new. Took it back several times and was even told they hear it but it is normal. Chevy Silverado doesn’t have to worry about me ever purcahsing another one
My 2013 chevrolet Silverado 4WD 6 speed clunks frequently which I’m very disappointed with. The dealership has told me it’s normal. Also I received a GM bulletin that outlines the problem and also claims it is caused by the slack that is in the gear system and with a 6 speed , it’s even worse. The bulletin recos. that the dealers not try to fix it by changing any of the gears as there are a number of them and it would not solve the problem. I have written to GM in Oshawa outlining my displeasure and also saying that I should have been informed of this problem when I was buying it as they should have known it existed as evidenced by the bulletinNo reply received to date. I also told them I am surprised that GM would accept such poor engineering design. I think it should be a recall and fixed. No reply to date from GM..
get a lawyer make them take it back, i did. california lemon law, no charge for the victim win or lose
Bring back hunter green as a color option i refuse to buy a new truck until they offer them in hunter green again.
What kind of gas mileage do the 2013 silverado hybrid get?
Bobby – the 2013 Silverado Hybrid is rated at 20 MPG city, 23 MPG highway.
Where is the improved engines, where’s the improved towing/hauling capacities, where’s the improved gas mileage? This is what is core to consumers looking for a new Truck. Until GM dramatically improves, they’ll continue to rank 4 or 5th in the north american market place. this simple “re-skinning” excersize is not enough
The 2013 changes are slight modifications to the current truck. You’re looking for the all-new trucks that are coming in 2014 with everything you’ve mentioned:

I’ll never buy another chev product. The 2012 silverado has been clunking when downshifting since day one. The dam thing even vibrates when it is running on four cylinders. It has been back to the dealer and service manager drove it home. The results NORMAL noise. So don’t buy a new silverado if you don’t want a clunker. 6 speed tranny ya right. Buy a ford.
Sorry it is a 2011 and the dealer is youngs in owosso mi.
ok soooo really they can do whatever they want to a chevy truck it will still beat the f seres ok ford isent made in america mexicans make the damn parts the only thaing good with ford is there trany now if ford and chevy got together and ford just gave them there trany it would be the best truck ever! and trucks aint spose to look pretty at all there spose to look tufe and rufe not pretty pritty
Has anyone heard they r planning on discontinuing the Chev. Silv.in the futher
I have a 2011 crew cab in sheer silver.I am looking for a 2014 GMC extended cab with 20 inch tires and rims in the dark blue.I saw months ago they had a graphite blue metallic om gm’s website.Does this color exist and is it possible to get the dark blue in the sierra or the silverdo for 2014?
I love my 2012 gmc regular cab short box 4×4 5.3 6spd auto with no noies or nothing fuck off ford guys I could go onto a ford website and make any ford sound bad to but I ant a kidd any more I’m a chevy so I buy chevy you like ford go buy one end of story
I have a 2013 silverado can i put on a after market dual exhaust system ?
sure can my truck is true dualed cat back straight piped and had a custom tune down loaded into it quick on its tires huge difference its bin in the shop for new rim and they didn’t say nothing just gota leave your two cats on but after that do what ever you want is what gm told me
My 2011 silverado is the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased. It has been a clunker since day one. I’ve had it back to Youngs in Owosso several times but they say the clunking in the tranny is normal. I would love to ride in one that is abnormal and hear it shift and clunk. Good job GM you won’t ever see my business again.
your a piece of junk you ever think of that I could tell story’s about dodges fords toyotas and so on but you acting like your a two year old online won’t stop people from buying them like u said bud if your a ford dodge or whatever guy then fuck off and quit making up storys gm has made and sold a ton of these trucks wonder why hmmm o maby cause there a good truck so fuck you fuck nuts
hey henry I test drove a 2014 chevy today and it was fairly dark blue very nice trucks ton more power but I live in saskatchewan canada so colours might differ a bit if you live in the states but I could be wrong but don’t buy black I hate it such a bitch to keep cleen I gota polish it every time I’m done washing it or it stays grimey looking no matter what fuck black worst colour but it looked so hot on the lot
Does anyone have a solution to the clunking that happens to the 2013 chevy silverado ?
I can change my name to paul but if this isn’t looser paul all I would say is take it to the dealer iv got almost 40 000km on my 12 and no clunkin go into the dealer flip your shit thell fix it when I drove dodges that’s what I had to do all the time works good
“flip your shit” on my service drive and we throw you through the customer lounge window. If its broken, the dealer will fix it – thats how they make money. They don’t redesign them. Want one handbuilt to your specs? Go to phantom works and bring cash – they don’t do 2.9% for 72…
I have a 2011 Silverado extended cab and no problems in the almost 3 years I have had it.
raymond flipping shit in dealer ships is the only way to get service some times and put me through a window then watch your customers walk out the door and then watch my lawyer sue the living hell outa you then ill win you’ll loose I also doubt you could toss me through a window son good luck weres your dealer
I also have a 2013 silverado same rear end clunking problem told its normal at5900 miles & at 6600 miles i took in again 4 service ( service 4 wheel drive system )
Why Dont Alex Luft up date his web sight , Come on 2013 Silverado and why dont you go from newset to oldest or alex cant get on his web ? ( im human )
