Accident Watch: Corvette Crashes In Police Chase Going 165 MPH

We don’t like car accidents as much as the next guy, but the GM Authority Army just keeps sending them in; so until you stop, we’ll keep publishing them.

This stolen C4 was doing 165 mph on the highways of Arizona when the driver miscalculated a passing maneuver and ended up sliding driver’s side first into the back of semi. The driver was thrown out of the car and — magically — was still alive, seemingly without a scratch. It pains us to even watch this clip, but we’ll take our chances:

  2. Why are great cars like the Corvette ruined by terrible drivers? Just shows how good a corvette is built since the last few seconds show the windshield wipers still on.

  3. Hey wasn’t going 165mph police cars would never keep up with him and it would not take so long to pass the trucks. Maybe 85 to 95 mph.

  4. It took two seconds to pass that truck 75 feet’only going about 25 miles an hour faster than the truck and most trucks are governed at 65 miles an hour or less.

  9. I have to agree with the others. It was not traveling 165. The crusiers can not go that fast!

    1. Maybe they can, but the police will definitely not try to find out, I think they they avoid going over 100 even in high speed chases.

  10. I am not a fan of the C4 but seeing a car in that kind of condition being obliterated by an idiot……. Makes me ill. Ugh, the pain. =( I will have to drive my home extra careful tonight, but then I don’t try to outrun cops. I try to avoid them. ;^)
