The Cadillac Racing Team didn’t take first place during the fourth round of the Pirelli World Challenge Series at the Utah Grand Prix last weekend; but that didn’t stop drivers Andy Pilgrim and Johnny O’Connell from widening the points lead versus their competition and giving spectators a race worth remembering. And if you have even the slightest care about racing or high-performance driving, the team created this video of O’Connell and Pilgrim each doing a hot lap around around the track prior to the race, with each driver narrating the run through the turns. Listen to that engine roar:
O’Connell finished second behind Porsche’s Patrick Long by 3 seconds and currently leads Long and all other the World Challenge GT drivers with 501 points while Pilgrim finished fourth behind Mike Skeen and is currently second in the driver’s points standings with 452. After the fourth round, Cadillac is ahead of Porsche by 2, 32-30 in Manufacturer’s points, with the next action being May 10-11 at the Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California.

GM’s racing programs are really impressive if you were to ask me.
Two of the best sedan roadracers in the world ! Last year Johnny won the World Challenge race at Mid Ohio in the last two turns on the last lap !!!
Three years ago (the 1st generation CTSV’s) I watched Andy just race the wheels off his “V” to a podium finish at the same track !! Just fabulous racing !
HA I could do that in my sleep!
