If you’ve ever wanted to step inside the wonderland that is GM’s Milford Proving Grounds — where prototypes of the next generation Chevrolet Silverado, C7 Corvette and Cadillac CTS roam about — then pay attention to this short blurb.
For 2012, the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour has teamed up with Chevrolet Performance to kick off the festivities on Saturday, June 2, within the confines of the Milford Proving Ground. The Power Tour travels far southwest, finally ending in Arlington, Texas, on June 9.
With more than 3,000 hot rods, muscle cars, classic trucks and late-model performance vehicles and approximately 12,000 enthusiasts accompanying them, the Milford kick-off is expected to be the largest group of non-GM personnel to visit the guarded test facility.
GM plans on showing off its very best, including the family of Cadillac CTS-V models, and just about every Chevy Camaro variant under the sun including the COPO Camaro prototype and Hot Wheels SEMA Show car, among many others.

This just turns my stomach
TL; DW.
A shame that some happless people can’t wrap their head around the idea that not every part in their car comes from one country. The uploader is almost as bad as the people who still think rebadging is the same as platforming sharing; or that the former is going to go away sometime soon.
Wait until they find out about Santa Clause; that’ll really blow their mind.
The Youtube link posted by GUY is just pure propaganda. All the facts are twisted to fit their anti GM and anti bailout narrative.
GM has manufacturing facilities in China and around the world because GM is selling cars like no other company in China and around the world. GM is opening many new facilities there, because GM is growing there. The bailout has helped GM to remain the worlds biggest car company, and that means lots of jobs in our country. This is all great news for America, not bad news. In a world where the Europeans (think Airbus) and the Japanese ( MITI is all about that ) constantly ensure that their key industries cannot go out of business and are put at a competitive advantage, it is important that we rescue ours when necessary. ( And no, I do not support Obama, and it is shameful that such propaganda usually comes from my camp of the political spectrum. )
