He owns a set of cowboy boots, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, drives a Ford Mustang and puts cheese on everything. And in an exclusive interview with GQ Magazine, the Hamster listed off his top 10 favorite American cars. Two of which were Chevrolet Corvettes; the original and beautiful ’53 Corvette, and GM’s fastest production vehicle to-date, the beastly ZR1. It’s good to know there’s some love for American cars on the super popular British TV series.

They added more episodes to season 2 that has to be a good sign 🙂

this is no surprise, Hamilton also owns a 69 Charger, a Camaro, a NEW Challenger (the actual orange one they drove in the US road trip muscle car shoot-out was personally purchased) as well as other Americana.
as for the US version of top gear, i like the guys i really do, but if all they have to offer is aping the British version of the show while offering with absolutely NO car knowledge enhancement, then good riddance.
They just don’t have the viewers and henceforth the cash to do so!

The Bristish top gear show as far as i am concerned is legend. It got me through a long hospital stay at a cancer center. Jeremy, Richard and James are the best commentators on cars of the world that I know of. I will watch them sometimes for hours. They just pull you in with there conversations and exploits. One example was when Jeremy and James had to go and rescue Richard somewhere in the mountains of Winnepeg. I would have never have wanted to be Richard in that situation even though he had a camera crew with him. It was very interesting that Jeremy drove a Hennessey Ford F150 Raptor and James had a Duramax Turbo Diesel powered Chevrolet Silverado and they both liked how they performed in those snowy mountains. One of Richards truck adventures took him to Africa where he drove a 5 ton Marauder truck that was even bomb proof. Richard had a lot of fun driving that and displaying a lot of its capabilities. These three blokes were meant too be together.
