NHTSA Widens Chevrolet Cruze Investigation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now expanded its investigation into Chevrolet Cruze engine fires to two model years, those being 2011 and 2012  upping the number of total vehicles from 177,000 to 370,000. The investigation, which began in April, started due to sudden combustion of a pair of Cruzen. We’ve provided an amateur video below of one of the incidents. General Motors has already stated that no injuries have resulted in the matter, sans two compact sedans.
