Hot Rod Pilots Lingenfelter Chevy Camaro ZL1 To 202.67 MPH

It was the first 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 to break the 11-second mark in the quarter mile. Now it’s the first 2012 Camaro ZL1 to crack 200 mph, 202.67 mph to be precise. It might have been touched up by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, but that doesn’t make it any less awesome.

In order to achieve this speed, the yellow ZL1 needed to receive enough upgrades to produce an animalistic 720 horsepower and the unflinching courage of Hot Rod Magazine boss  David Freiburger at the Continental/General Tire Proving Grounds in Uvalde, Texas. The above photo is what the front of the Lingenfelter ZL1 looked like after annihilating unsuspecting bugs at speed. There’s probably a video of the deed coming, we hope.

Oh, Redline Motorsports, there’s a big-ass ball in your court.
