While Chevrolet’s sales dipped a few points in the U.S. market last month, its success on a global scale remains without parallel. Selling 1.18 million vehicles during the first three months of 2012, the bowtie brand has marked its sixth consecutive record-breaking sales quarter for itself, and registered a growth of 6.5 percent. Chevy’s quick growth pace has also contributed to the brand’s global market share swelling to 6.3 percent.
The Chevrolet Cruze continues to lead the brand globally, registering roughly 180,000 total sales in the first quarter of 2012, which is also a 20 percent increase over 2011.

Interesting, so it has a 6.3% market share on Earth? or its market share grew by 6.3%?
is it just me or do i see some optra in the rear of that hatch?
Maybe if they offered the vehicles we want and need in the US (Cruze hatch & wagon, new Colorado, Captiva), they could have those kind of sales figures here at home.
