Cadillac CTS-V Wagon Totaled During One Lap Of America

During the latest stage of One Lap of America, the cross-country event found itself at Wisconsin’s Road America track, where participants were able to bang out hot laps in their road cars. One such car was a Cadillac CTS-V Wagon. That same car also found itself totaled.

Witnesses say that the V-Wagon carried enough momentum to send itself over the retaining wall, followed by some rolls. Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured. But the world is down one super-wagon.

  1. look at how well the roof stood up to the multiple rolls.

the ability of a car to protect it’s occupants in such manner that they can shrug off what used to be a sever injury/fatal accident is why modern performance cars are so heavy.

  2. Wow. If it took several rolls, that is on well constructed frame. Amazing. I would feel safer driving one after seeing this and I never mind a heavy car. I prefer them. =)
