Shortly following the A$1 billion plan between GM and the Australian government, Holden has been tasked with designing and developing two all-new vehicles for the Chinese market which will also be produced in China.
Even though the models will not be sold in Australia, it will be Holden’s efforts that will lead the design and development work in Port Melbourne, Australia. We’re not yet sure what vehicles will be developed, but the Holden Caprice-based Buick Park Avenue is currently for sale in China. To make it official, Holden signed the agreement with Shanghai General Motors (SGM) and the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Centre, a joint venture between GM and SAIC.

I’m going to go way off topic, but the Buick Zeta in the picture doesn’t look like a Buick to me. bucks are a lot curvier all around the vehicle, and have more chrome accenting.
Perhaps. But even then, I think this Zeta-based Park Avenue would make for a fine Buick flagship.
i’v said it before i think a roadmaster would be a better flagship with it based on the omega platform and being a mercades benz r-class type vehicle only softer and only seating six so as to not be confused with a people carrier. and a two door four seater riviera as the halo model.
