D3 Cadillac Tuning Attends MFest 2012

D3 brought the ruckus to the streets of Southern California not too long ago. And last week, the tuning company brought even more ruckus to Las Vegas, this time to enemy territory. See, D3 is a Cadillac-exclusive performance tuning company, and they set up shop at MFest, a huge meet for BMW enthusiasts — as paid sponsors, no less. Everybody seemed to respect each other in the video, though the D3 CTS-Vs looked like supercharged V8-powered sharks among German fish. Only much louder.

*Update: we revised the language of the title. D3 didn’t literally “crash” MFest.

  1. I’m not a fan of those people with Civics on cut springs, with huge rear wings and shitty exhaust who sit outside Tim Hortons taking up two spots each and acting like assholes to other people. But what Im even more not a fan of, is the guy in the ZR1 or GTO who shows up, does some drive bys, pulls in the lot like he is just randomly there being all innocent then rips out of the lot redlining. And im a corvette guy.
And that is basically what has happened here. If I go to a Caddy meet with my CTS and corvette guys are there, great, same engine and tech. My dad has brought his Z06 with me a few times and thats great. But a V at an M/Bimmer meet is a little rude. Unless there is more to this story and the V’s were welcome.

    1. Yea, going there uninvited is plain rude to the bmw people, and D3 is not going to win any favors for sales or Cadillac or the V by being there.

Now if they asked the meet coordinators to be there, and they accepted, it would be great.

    2. Poetically, D3 was actually a paid sponsor.

      1. If thats the case, theres no problem, but the “crashing” in the title suggests otherwise.

  2. If the BMW event allowed the Caddy guys there, where’s the wrong? They didn’t just “show up” people.

  3. I’m the Marketing Director for Cadillac and I just want to assure all you Cadillac fans that not only were we invited to attend we were in fact a sponsor along with a same group from Lexus. I was in attendance at the event and believe it or not the M owners had nothing but positive reactions from our display and our cars. This was a great way to get “hard core” performance enthuisiasts exposed to the performance and capabilities of Cadillac.

  6. Why you Dam BMW Apologist, this is a GM Site so take your Whining to BMW, you make it sound like the Bimmers Never Crash a Party……..News Flash, They Have and Rightfully so cause they had the Bad Ass rides, but now Caddy is Flashing Muscle the likes none of the Competitors have ever seen and what I Luv is that it’s the Younger Gen doing it makes me Freakin Elated. All I here is how Caddy has to be more appealing to the Young and Wall-Laa, here is D3 bringing some Incredible Street Cred to the party which BMW got No Real Answer to at All!! If Caddy has to also be the Monsters from the East protecting there Turf and Invading Yours……….Then Make It Happen, and to all you Bimmer Luvin “That’s Not Right, cause we can’t keep Up” Fan Boys out there……Life’s a Bitch and Then You Die, so get over it cause your Hill has Crumbled and Fell………..Can’t wait to see what D3 does to the ATX!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
